Description

Evil Hold captures succinctly the unreliability of fete: the trials and tribulations of man in the face of contending forces which tend to overturn his efforts. It is a touching story of the struggles, of the Nnamani family, their unified efforts and hopes and the disappointments in the face of overwhelming determination to succeed. Nnamani's attempts to achieve success through his son, Samuel, fails at the last moment as his son is felled by police bullets, moments before his graduation. This finally convinces Nnamani that benevolent nature and man were in conspiracy against him as he totters on the other side of sanity his old age.
