Description

THE LAST COUP The Republic of Nima is in a crumbling state as a result of poverty, corruption, mismanagement and instability brought about by the constant coups, counter-coups and change of leadership. Hunger, starvation and disease are the lot of the common man while the rich and the affluent live in luxury. Consequently, four young army officers (a major and three captains) plan and successfully execute The Last Coup. A powerful, revolutionary government is installed and drastic revolutionary laws and innovations are introduced. National economic recovery, peace, stability and social justice are achieved within a couple of years. A revolutionary, sociist innovation aimed at (once and for all) closing the gap between the rich and the poor angers the rich and engenders friction. In the midst of the friction, one of the earlier revolutionary innovations backfires leading to the successful takeover of government by the women of Nima.
