WHO DRUMS FOR THE CORPSES This play is set in the context of an election and the aftermath of a ritual festival. The Chief is a politician who goes to obtain a bank loan and also to consult a traditional African Priest, for the purpose of winning an election. The election came and he won but shortly after the military struck.
