Description

The play The Last Tears Of A Rival Leopard King is centred on pride and betrayal. Obi Anazonwu's insistence on abolishing slave trade in Onicha Ado n' Idu creates a rift between Obiogbolu Ogene, a senior chief and him. Obiogbolu defies him and declares himself the Ezeoba of the town, but his pride and betrayal by his close friends propel him to a catastrophic end.
