The Oganyin people of Oro-Ago Kingdom in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State of Nigeria are renowned for the worship of Aaba as a tradition in the olden days. The festival was celebrated once in a year in the Aaba forest called "Igbo Aaba". The priest would go with a cow for sacrifice, meant to be eaten by only men. This play is intended to teach the history of Oganyin and their activities during the Aaba celebration by the people. There is no better way to remind the younger generations about our past than through the documentation of such traditions in drama and play forms. It is important that we tell our story ourselves.
