But more haste, worse speed; for the seemingly right way soon turns out to be wrong. So their journey ends in either disaster or destruction. This is often the experience of anyone who indulges in vices or cuts corners to achieve his goals. The Foolish Wise is a probe into the conscience of all in African society whose vices are the target of the playwright's missiles.
