At this contemporary juncture when a sizeable portion of Nigerians are grinning and reeling in the comfort of parental warmth, this novel stings to remember the ordeal of orphans among us. It is not that the orphans have not been, and are not sad spectacle of cold hands of death in our individualistic society.
