Description
The stories in this collection depict the sad reality and consequences of increasing deterioration of morals in our society. Themes revolve around prostitution, cultism and exam malpractice/misconduct in our educational system where high and political ethical values are supposed to be imbibed by students representing the future of the country. And in he outer society where the drama of national existence is played out, it is a field-day of violence and violation of human rights, bribery and corruption of different hues and shades as well as their consequences. It is not surprising that a strong current of patriotism, symbolized by the national flag and all the conflicts and tensions surrounding it, flows through the veins of the positive characters in these stories. That is what the writer i proffers as the only viable and sustaining principle that can set the polity on the positive path to true nationhood.
