Uzoma comes to Lagos from the village. After surmounting great huddles to make something of herself and get married, she dinds her happiness threatened by childlessness. Her quest for children would lead her back to the village-to the site of a childhood vow- and into the arms of a childhood lover who has now become a catholic priest. Will she win her quest?
