Ukewang Kenaweh in a ruthless display of rare determination, raw courage, infectious wit and calculated grit resolves wholeheartedly to become a nurse. Jennie, her overzealous and cantankerous mother, is strongly opposed to it. Being an accountant she desires her daughter to toe her footsteps. She hates nursing and sees no future in it for her daughter except forcing Ukewang into any of the management sciences. Clent, Ukewang's father, is virtually undecided. He sits on the fence as trouble unfolds gradually in his household. A successful architect in his own right, inwardly he does not desire Ukewang to study nursing.
