Description
ABOUT THE BOOK The play satirizes the concept of free education in Africa. Many African countries usually tell the world that they are providing free education. Prospective students pay heavily to get admission and to secure a place in many African schools. After securing a place, prospective students are charged sundry fees (acceptance fees, departmental fees, library fees...) At the end, education is gradually becoming a thing for the rich in many countries of Africa. Many students from poor families in Africa are losing places in many schools in Africa not because they are academically poor, but because their parents are poor and they cannot pay the sundry fees charged by schools in Africa.
