Like the deafening booms of a canon shot, After the War shoots itself to the stage today. On one hand, it is a play, but on the other hand it is life being played out before the living. As a play, it dramatizes the brazen and wanton destruction, which occasions e very condition of war. Using characters that represent different dimensions and reaction to this condition, the play highlights the pain which humanity is usually thrown into after the war.
