The traffickers is a story of human trafficking, ritual sacrifice, cultism and corruption in Nigeria, exposed when a virgin village beauty queen, Nwakego from Ugiriukwu Ubakala, a suburd of Owerri, suddenly disappears. It is a story of a nation gripped by corruption of all shades and colours, in hifh and low places. It portrays a corrupt police force, the image of which is later saved by Ihuoma, a young female police inspector. The Traffickers is a story of vendetta- a warning to men in power to avoid Herculean rules that can ruin the young asnd make them resolve to haunt society. It is a story of final victory of truth over falsehood.
