Description
ALL FOR GOD is preoccupied with human tendency for greed and the dangerous dimension of manipulating religion to justify economic/political covetousness. The commercialization of spirituality is a recent trend which puts to question the philosophical constructs of the prominent religions in Africa, if juxtaposed with the conducts of their adherents. The pulpits have become another political arena to advance worldly/personal desires, far from the Godly design. The concepts of equity, justice, service to humanity and accountability have been eroded thereby creating confusion as to what is Godly as opposed to what is priestly. The arch enemy, God, represented by Ebita, a Yoruba version of the 'accursed' devil, now collaborates with priests in the churches, mosques and the shrines, to amplify the ambivalence between fact and falsehood; do and don't; love and lust; desire and disaster; friend and foe; heaven and hell.
