Description

When the new king of Aiyegbogbo chooses to rule with violence and dictatorship, a revolt is inevitable. The eponymous star of the play, Oba Mosebolatan, is a narcissist king, who faces a premature end to his reign as king, due to his tyrannical rule. He brags about being the most educated and civilized, tries to enforce his rule on them; and in his bid to eliminate any form of opposition to his reign, he becomes oppressive and desecrates the culture and tradition of his people. These events accelerate the process of his dethronement.
