Description
A One-Time Reign entails the historical tradition of Hausa land. The prince of Northwest(Yohanna) defied the Northcentral kingdom of his uncle (Yohance) who humiliated the Northwest trade with the North African's merchants. Prince Yohanna had to fight the perilous Princess of North-central (Zaytun) on a festival day that Zaytun had to choose a brave a man who could defeat her in a combat despite being undefeated. Nevertheless it was hard to believe there could be someone dauntless and brave enough to fight Princess Zaytun and took her away to his kingdom as a tribute to his victory like Prince Yohanna did. The story encompasses themes of adversarial kingship & enemies-to-lovers.
