Shanty Town is the story of Finecountry, a young man in search of himself; and his fathers desperate struggles to save him from being swept away by negative social forces. The dramatist's central concern the urgent need to restore positive values in a society that is fast losing grip of sanity, a society in dire need of self-discovery, regeneration, social justice and of course development.
